The BB Mapper is based around Macromedia Flash. see the interface

It is composed of a series of Flash based outline files that are linked together to enable the drill down from national boundaries through regions to counties and unitary authorities.

Each Flash 'Region File' (*.swf) gets information about the links within the region file by reading a text based configuration file. These text files can be modified to point the boundaries to specific web pages or call to a server application or other dynamic file (e.g. ASP, JSP, CFM etc).

Configuration

A configuration utility enables you to set-up the mapper files and the required links from boundary to external web page (or dynamic file).

This utility enables you to link the component boundaries to external URLs. It writes the necessary text files. These files are loaded with the SWF region files to the web server.
